London BiFest is an annual day-long festival exploring and celebrating bisexuality. We take over the top two floors of Doggett's Coat and Badge to run workshops, play games, socialise and dance.
During the day, there will be a variety of sessions - click here for details. There will be social space so you can have a drink, a craft corner, and a time-out area with books and magazines. Children are welcome in the upstairs bar, although not allowed at the sessions.
In the evening we'll have a disco with DJs, more social space, and a quiet room. We also hope to show the Eurovision Song Contest during the evening, though there will also be space to avoid it! There'll be a small buffet in the early evening and the pub also serves food all day.
When: Saturday May 16th, 1pm onwards, party from 8pm until late.
Where: Doggett's Coat and Badge 1, Blackfriars Bridge, London, SE1 9UD (map here). There's a video showing how to get to BiFest at Doggetts on YouTube.
£10 waged, £5 unwaged or other low income (please note that you don't need to bring proof)
There is no booking in advance - just turn up.
The venue has a lift up to the top two floors, and a disabled toilet with a radar key. There is more information on accessibility here, or you can email us on access@london.bifest.org if you have specific questions.
London BiFest this year is being run by Katy and David M. If you'd like to volunteer to help out with the event, do let us know by e-mailing info@london.bifest.org! We're particularly looking for people to be on the registration desk during the day.
